South Franklin Animal Hospital Staff Team
The staff at South Franklin Animal Hospital is a team in so many ways and are excited to be part of caring for pets. We feel it is important that you know them by name and what makes them special. The SFAH members are trained extensively and have monthly meetings so everyone can be on the same page with hospital protocols and medicine.
Cassie Scholten is our new mom, to baby Elan. Cassie has been our receptionist going on two years.. Cassie is just coming back to us from her maternity leave, and is a crucial part of our team. She is sweet and caring, and willing to go the extra mile for our hospital and clients. Cassie will continue to learn and grow with SFAH for years to come, and hopefully adding a few more days here and there.
Hannah Smith started with SFAH as a part time while going to school for nursing. Hannah has decided to persue her love of animals, as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She is currently at Columbia State in the LVT Program, and will have no troubles getting through with her degree . Hannah has a connection with all the animals and has some adorable stories of them all. Hannah is excited to expand her knowledge and skills veterinary medicine, and will make a outstanding, well rounded technician.
Samanth {Sam} Shaw is our full time kennel caretaker. Samantha comes with experience in not only taking care of the animal's needs, but in closely monitoring for any issues, problems. or concerns while the animal is in our care. Samantha shows alot of love and extra tenderness for the animals, and the animals seem to relax in this caring environment. Samantha will continue to grow in knowledge by persuing a veterinary assistant education. Samantha has a long career in the veterinary field, and hopefully with SFAH.
Abby Oldham has been part of SFAH team since in high school. Abby is in college at Murfreesboro, TN, studying to be an Occupational Therapist. Abby is an amazing person, gentle and loving with clients and pets.
Jennifer Arant is SFAH's newest full time receptionist. Jennifer has recently moved to our area with her husband, Chris. She comes with an amazing interest and alot of energy. We are so excited to see Jennifer grow in knowledge, skills, and as a person at SFAH.
Lauren Cain has joined SFAH now and will be working with us while in school. Lauren has dreams of going to veterinary school. She will be attending UT Martin after high school. Lauren is such a sweet, hard worker and we are happy she is with us.
Nicole Williams has joined our SFAH team as a kennel assistant. Nicole and her family have been with Dr. Sammons for several years as a client, and now Nichole is persuing her dream of becoming a veterinary technician. Nichole is an extremely fast learner and a very smart young lady. Her love for the animals is obvious. This match for SFAH is perfect.
